Built in 1926 by renowned Houston architect William Ward Watkins, designer of The Museum of Fine Arts, the Houston Public Library, and numerous buildings at Rice University, The Majestic Metro’s hand-crafted architectural detailing is unique to buildings of the 1920’s. In 1990, the property was beautifully restored to become one of Houstons premier special events venues. The developer was awarded Preservation Houston’s “Good Brick Award” for saving this downtown treasure.

The Majestic Metro’s 30 years of hosting spectacular events for Houston’s corporate clients, non-profit organizations and private clients, has allowed us to work with a number of the best vendors Houston has to offer. We have an extensive list of preferred caterers and alcohol service vendors. Each of our preferred vendors can create the perfect turn-key event for you and your guest. If you have a particular caterer in mind, please ask us about our option for bringing in an outside caterer and/or alcohol service vendor.
